JUST A SHORT NOTE.....

well finally i seem to be back in the swing of things, slowly lol. if you would like to see  other tutorials go into the archives, there are also a few tutorials in the create corner on Facebook too. what i am asking you, what would you like to see more of, punch art, embossing resist embossing , 3d projects . and of course scrap-booking.  and a few timeline covers as well . but if there's something specific you want to see or find out let me know ill do my best. well im off to reinvent some more stuff for you all to have a go with. think I might do a vintage rip and tear card today ......maybe lol inky hugs kerrie

stamp from a magazine set coloured in su markers and bling

and off we go

fold your base card (a5) in half . cut a piece of primrose petal card stock smaller slightly than the front of card . using vine embossing folder run through big shot. then grabbing your brayer and primrose matching ink pad and brayer over the top of the embossed paper, to make the ridges pop out.

so these are the tools we used , the vine embossing folder , primrose ink pad , loving the new pads they have bought out holds the ink longer and solid colours too. and of course to the right the brayer that i ran over the card stock as you can see to darken the ridges.

doily die and the end result. a lil hint use your paper piercer to pop out small section and i ran mine through twice to make sure it cut through 

pick out your dsp and cut to size and attach to base card.

 using the heart framelits I used the third size up the the smallest one to cut out the centre , i stamped the smaller one previously with another pattern but it matched in so i kept it. sponge all edges of hearts

using you dimensionals /foam dots pop the heart on so its slightly raised and same for the smaller one too.

 add ric rac to bottom of card

 using the embosslits butterflies from stampin up in the matching card stock to base to attach at the end with glue dots

using your stamp of choice i chose one i got from a magazine they dont last long but are fun to use occasionally  i coloured mother bear with su markers and used KINDY glitz to add some bling to her dress, when its dry and ready add 4 dimensionals as shown above and attach to the front of the card onto the heart in your desired place

begin to embellish with paper flower and button  use large label punch on white , sponge edges and  with the word memories stamped on it from the set loving thoughts from stamping up.

the end result.  now what do you think you can come up with.......

WORK OUT YOUR COLOUR COMBINATION TO USE IN THIS CARD. I ACTUALLY STAMPED THE IMAGE IN STAYZON AND SET IT ASIDE TO LET THE OUTLINE DRY UP PROPERLY  YOU CAN USE YOUR HEAT GUN IF YOU WANT TO GET STRAIGHT INTO IT. BUT I COLOURED THE SHOE FIRST MATTED IT THEN ADDED THE KINDY GLITZ AND SET IT ASIDE TO DRY WHILE I DID THE LAYERING STAGE OF THE BACKGROUND PAPER.

TAKE YOUR PINK PIROUETTE STRIP AND RUN THROUGH THE BIG SHOT WITH THE NEW HONEYCOMB EMBOSSING FOLDER  THEN SPONGE THE FRONT OF IT WITH PRIMROSE PETALS FROM THE NEW IN COLOUR RANGE FOR THIS YEAR.



SO AS YOU CAN SEE ONCE SPONGED IT REALLY POPS OUT ONLY SPONGE THE EDGES AS THAT'S ALL YOU WILL SEE, START ADDING YOUR LAYERS ON TO THE CARD BASE .START WITH THE HONEYCOMB EMBOSSED STRIP THEN DSP.
MATT YOUR PHOTO ON PIXIE PINK OR YOUR CHOICE OF COLOUR
THIS IS HOW IT SHOULD LOOK MATTED COLOURED AND ANY GLITZ ADDED MINES NOT SHOWING UP IN THE LIGHT ON THAT DAY ,BUT ITS PERSONAL CHOICE OF COLOURS ETC AND BLING. SORRY FOR THE SIDE VIEW.
GET YOUR GUM BALL GREEN RIBBON OR WHATEVER YOU INTEND TO USE AND ATTACH TO MATTED PIECE AND ATTACH A STRIP ACROSS BOTTOM. MAKE UP A BOW AND ATTACH WITH A DIMENSIONAL,FOAM DOT



NOW ATACH TO THE CARD IN DESIRED PLACE I PUT MINE OFF CENTRE TO THE RIGHT.
CUT A SMALL 1/2 INCH STRIP OF DSP THAT MATCHES IN AND ATTACH TO THE SIDE AS SHOWN IN THE PICTURE BELOW

NOW EMBELLISH THE STRIP WITH SENTIMENT ,HEARTS , BLING WHATEVER YOU LIKE!

I USED THE UPCOMING NEW SET CIAO BABY STAMP SET AND THE FABULOUSLY YOU STAMP SET FROM THE CURRENT CATALOGUE  ,WITH MY SALEBRATION PUNCH THAT MATCHES THE SET , AND THE SMALL LOVE HEART PUNCH USING SOME OF THE LEFT OVER EMBOSSED PAPER.  ADD SOME BLING AND IT SHOULD COME OUT LIKE THIS.



I ENDED UP ADDING TWO SMALL STICK ON FLOWERS THAT I HAD LEFT OVER FROM SOMEWHERE BUT I DIDN'T GET TO PHOTO IT . SORRY GUYS. HOPE YOU LIKED IT LET ME KNOW IF YOU NEED ANY HELP OR A REQUEST.
