A LITTLE NOTE....

HI CRAFTERSI do various sorts of crafts, as you an see and in time you will see my 3d projects I do as well, but there's a few olden goldies in my closet and what better way to start than to go back over and re do  some of my old cards in tutorials for you.  most products used are stamping up ,i love stamping up for there fantastic range quality and always brings a smile to my face. I love it so much i over ordered too much lol derp...... now am having to exchange a few things cos I got 2 of 2 things, where was my brain during that order, obviously frozen over cos its a darn cold here in hobart that's for sure.

If you like a project  or a product  look in the magazine on my  web page , and email me your order, stampin up pride in that they can post it directly to you, so you’ll get it super quick once my order is placed. I try to order each fortnight so if you’re looking for that special stamp or punch just email me and it will be on its way to you.

Alternatively after being asked a lot I will be offering kits, my kits will be tailor made in that you can request what card you want to make what parts you have and parts you don’t or do you need the full kit. , for example the furniture series... ahhhhh that's a secret...... but you need the bottom punched out on your card stock.  Or you want certain shapes etc. Email me and we can work some magic. Instructions come printed for convenience.

Now Im off to finish my blog for you, it’s a great one I loved doing.might find out the secret too.  happy craftingxx

WORK PHOTOS FROM MONDAYS CLASS

THESE ARE SUPER EASY BUT SO EFFECTIVE TO DRESS UP A ROOM...
you will need
two die shapes for centre
one extra to embellish and attach to top after glueing eg scallop square or scallop circle or even a plastic dinner plate will do
. I saw one done in dsp attached to a clock looked great but im not that rich so it was craft magazines we used but any will do.
roll the pages into cones use tape do these first you will need about 25 of them approx depending on how tight you want it.
glue gun is a must.
after making up the rolls lay out the design then glue it onto the edges with hot glue gun then add top piece add liberal amount of glue
punch a hole to hang from.

dress it up and that's it. why don't you give one a go ... happy crafting

AGED PAPER CARD

MORNING ALL, HERE IS A GREAT TUTORIAL TO TRY, all products are stampin up and ad can be bought form me as your su demonstrator, but for now on with the tutorial...

WHAT YOU WILL NEED.

Base card scored and folded in true thyme(RETIRED BUT RIVER ROCK OR EARLY ESPRESSO CARD STOCK WOULD BE FINE.)
An old book to be used for backing paper and scallop flower.
Cream card stock 10 x 8cm aprox
Metal circle tag for clock stamp
Brad for scallop flower
Chocolate chip and close to cocoa ribbon thin
Gold tie for cuttlebug tags
Paper edge distresser
Gold and bronze paint daubers
Glimmer mist
1 ¾ inch punch for clock
Word window punch
Scallop oval. Medium Oval and small oval for sentiment nest

How to get that aged paper cards and flowers look.

THE SCALLOP FLOWER...
Punch out 10 newsprint scallop circles and one in card stock as the base.
Scrunch up all the pieces individually, unfurl then gather in a group.
Using paper piercer attach together with a brad, ink up the edges with both the sage and the suede slightly scrunch and manipulate flower till desired effect.
Once satisfied spray with glimmer mist lightly and allow to dry.
Attach to card with a glue dot

THE CARD....

Fold and score true thyme card stock.
Take distresser go around the edge of the card and age the edges of front and back
Use paint daubers go around edges and coat a small amount on the edges, set to dry
Take a page from a cheap old novel the older the better, and cut it down to cover the front of the card now we are going to age it , so scrunch it up first, roughen up edges with your hands.
Grab your soft suede stamp pad, and sponge the paper to your desired effect, add a little mellow moss as well to bring out a green tinge. Mount this on front of the card stock
Cut up your cream card stock aprox 14x9cm but it’s your choice as to how much or little of the newsprint you want to cover up.
Emboss crème card stock with elegant lines embossing folder. Them rip the card stock top off to one side and sponge lightly again using both colours
At this point tie your two tones or ribbon around the cream card stock.
Attach the cream card stock to the card base keeping the cream a little lower so the scallop flower can be seen well at the end.
Use cuttlebug tags die, cut out tow tags in true thyme and sponge with soft suede. Use paper piercer to add a hole attach to the ribbon with gold or bronze thread. On one of the tags attach a crème piece punched out from the work window punch and stamped with love on it in sage shadow ink.
Take gold or bronze metal tag. Stamp out clock in sage shadow on crème card stock and sponge lightly with soft suede. Punch out with 1 ¾ circle punch attach to the tag, it fits perfectly, attach to lower part of the card along the ribbon line. Try to remember to put your clock facing the right way ...woops lol
Punch out a true thyme scallop oval, crème medium oval and crème small oval , sponge to desired look and stamp sentiment layer and attach to right side of the card. Attach the scallop flower to the top left hand corner. And thats all it takes , an aged card that hides horrid card stock lol
