Paper edge distresser
Gold and bronze paint daubers
Glimmer mist
1 ¾ inch punch for clock
Word window punch
Scallop oval. Medium Oval and small oval for sentiment nest

How to get that aged paper cards and flowers look.

THE SCALLOP FLOWER...
Punch out 10 newsprint scallop circles and one in card stock as the base.
Scrunch up all the pieces individually, unfurl then gather in a group.
Using paper piercer attach together with a brad, ink up the edges with both the sage and the suede slightly scrunch and manipulate flower till desired effect.
Once satisfied spray with glimmer mist lightly and allow to dry.
Attach to card with a glue dot

THE CARD....

Fold and score true thyme card stock.
Take distresser go around the edge of the card and age the edges of front and back
Use paint daubers go around edges and coat a small amount on the edges, set to dry
Take a page from a cheap old novel the older the better, and cut it down to cover the front of the card now we are going to age it , so scrunch it up first, roughen up edges with your hands.
Grab your soft suede stamp pad, and sponge the paper to your desired effect, add a little mellow moss as well to bring out a green tinge. Mount this on front of the card stock
Cut up your cream card stock aprox 14x9cm but it’s your choice as to how much or little of the newsprint you want to cover up.
Emboss crème card stock with elegant lines embossing folder. Them rip the card stock top off to one side and sponge lightly again using both colours
At this point tie your two tones or ribbon around the cream card stock.
Attach the cream card stock to the card base keeping the cream a little lower so the scallop flower can be seen well at the end.
Use cuttlebug tags die, cut out tow tags in true thyme and sponge with soft suede. Use paper piercer to add a hole attach to the ribbon with gold or bronze thread. On one of the tags attach a crème piece punched out from the work window punch and stamped with love on it in sage shadow ink.
Take gold or bronze metal tag. Stamp out clock in sage shadow on crème card stock and sponge lightly with soft suede. Punch out with 1 ¾ circle punch attach to the tag, it fits perfectly, attach to lower part of the card along the ribbon line. Try to remember to put your clock facing the right way ...woops lol
Punch out a true thyme scallop oval, crème medium oval and crème small oval , sponge to desired look and stamp sentiment layer and attach to right side of the card. Attach the scallop flower to the top left hand corner. And thats all it takes , an aged card that hides horrid card stock lol
