my favourite of the week , from a punch art link in pintrest

hello again friends.........

last week was a productive week for me but I was lazy lol spent the week looking for new ideas on a site called pintrest which you all know, im sure, if not go check it out esp.. if you like to have a picture or tutorial to work from. so im going to show you this weeks cards and where to find cards like it. if anyone wants a tutorial done let me know ....so here we go

jandels tutorial
these were from a crafters anonymous tutorials i was late but once I made it got addicted , super cute idea and great site to be involved in. these are a twisted easel card.

so the week went on and I am also involved in pintrest Tuesday at the same site , this was my effort for that , still yet to be posted up on c.a.(whoops)
punch art pintrest tuesday card

and I kept finding cute ideas these are my take of cards from online cards , I try to make them mine but sometimes there perfect the way there are , so if you loose your mojo borrow someone else's  just be sure to acknowledge that its not an original idea if you cant remember the persons name. then say where it came from. in the craft world we share ideas and projects its natural, and I would rather see someone's work same as something they've seen as everyone has there own take on things anyway.if its online its public property , but just courtesy to say who was the original designer if you can....
this is um very big , cute but a little big for a card i think , next time id make the strips thiner and shorter  next time

so this time I made up my own using new supplies from stamping up the sizzix pin-wheel die(under 10 dollars you cant go wrong really) , tiny silver brads in pack of 200 also under 10 dollars from stampin up and cloud embossing folder from stampin ups new mini.
this card was a mix of a few different cards using only scraps was the mission .
now I mixed a few cards in this genre and came out with this... sometimes combining tutorials can make a great little cars , except for the stupid flower which was a stick on and I think I need to go fix its pleats up but that's life .....lol yes I too make many mistakes, alot of them lol

vintage idea using old lace..

ok I actually was watching a tutorial on making vintage flowers on you tube, they showed incorporating scrap bits of lace, interesting concept, would like to do a pale version in pastels , that would look so pretty, however I was pleased with the end result after a small spray of glimmer mist to add sparkle.
chabby chic bird cage

we have a new shop in Tasmania called shiploads yes you can imagine what we call it, lol but its like a 2 dollar shop or reject shop, and have alot of cheap craft goodies. I found this cage and stool, and thought why not I had heaps of lace etc from last year so this is the end result , now what to do with it ???? lol , probably going to market for sale I expect.

now i do have a passion of making paper flowers, cant help it i love the challenge, the large rose is made from the ornament punch sold from stampin up. this punch I use all year round yet it was for a Xmas design. however its a must have punch if you enjoy punch art. I am surprised at how many times and ways i use it to construct a scene or a critter.
ornament punch  rose.
a favorite of mine

now this rose bud was made from a flower punch from stampin up, that looks nothing like a rose. but after learning the trick this was the end result. ok for a first effort . and super fun.  I used KINDY glitz crystalline to add a bit of bling. This is  a must have product I find it cheaper to buy the large bottle and seems to be cheaper online ... check its local save on your postage .

stay tuned as I re feature all the different paper flowers that can be made from card stock and ink  eg daffodils , pansies , blue bells lilies  roses , fuchsias and many many more.
a rose, from the flower punch from stampin up ,

add to a box or 3d project. you could add wire and design a spray but you will need to incorporate the stem at the beginning stage.

well thats it for this week , if anyone wants a how to on any of these projects let me know and ill pop it up for you. hope you all had a great week and crafting with style. best wishes from kerrie and the create corner  xx
